I never met Tony personally, but like everyone else who has commented here I mourn his loss. Primarily for his family, of course, and I send you my condolences, but also of course to the world of non-League football, which was his passion. I wonder if perhaps one of the greatest tributes to Tony will be that in pubs and clubs up and down the land, the most heated argument in the argumentative world of the football fan always comes to a grinding halt after the words "Tony Kempster's site says...."
