Awful news, and however much we feel it as 'your public', I can't imagine how you and your family are feeling. Personally, you've expanded my knowledge and love of the non-league "proper" game enormously, and added a huge amount to my enjoyment of football. For that I thank you most sincerely and I'll never look at the non-league results again without thinking of your love and dedication for the honest end of our great sport. In terms of helping non-league football get the recognition it deserves, you really "took the lead". But never say never, and I hope you get to enjoy next season with us, whatever it brings.
